CMGA DESIGNATION

Managing General Agents analyze high-risk or niche markets and provide customers with tailor-made coverage. The Canadian Managing General Agent (CMGA) program is designed to help experienced insurance professionals move into the MGA space, or formalize their existing experience with a designation. The three-course program introduces students to the essentials using scenario-based case studies and equips them to operate effectively in the MGA marketplace. Enrolment now open.

JOINING MGA PANEL FOR BIAT

CAPACITY EXCHANGE

This virtual session on January 28 from 1pm to 4pm EST will bring together all the leading carriers/markets that deal with MGAs to present/report to the Canadian MGA marketplace about their positions on capacity, risk appetites, and their plans. Each presenter will have a time slot to speak directly to MGAs. MEET THE MARKET

This event planned for late February will bring together the Canadian MGA market with domestic and International brokers to foster introductions and allow MGAs to showcase their innovative products on a more informal basis. Networking is key in this business, and MGAs need brokers just as much as brokers need MGAs; this afternoon virtual convention will assist in that networking goal of opening doors for brokers and MGAs.
